Hikes Up.

Okay, everyone's been talking about Broga Hills for a very very very very long time and since it was public holiday (the other day) so I've decided to ask the boyfriend to bring me for a hike, since I'm now swimming and gyming more often. Yes, trying to be as pumped up as the boyfriend hah if that's ever possible. And did I tell you that he is now my "personal trainer"? According to a man that we've met in the gym the other day pfffft I can gym alright. Just that the equipment needs to be a little more short-friendly if you get what I mean! Anyways, back to Broga Hills. They said it was easy, I took it too lightly. Waaaaay too lightly because it wasn't very hard, just not as easy as I mentally thought it would be.

Everyone knows that it's famous for it's sunrise but we were late so by the time we arrived around 8am, everyone was heading the opposite direction from us haha. So this is what we got

Looking down at the first peak from the second peak.

Most people didn't make it to the third peak anyways. That's why they said it was easy, I suppose.

There is a Rabbit Fun Park next to the parking area but I think I saw more goats. Weird

We finished all 3 peaks in 2 hours. The first peak would definitely be the hardest for me because of it's steepness. I'm serious, I was so afraid I'd just fall out the hill if that's ever possible.

One of our meals after gyming. I never knew celery-cucumber juice would ever taste so good! I recommend O'Briens as an alternative option from Subway :)

Anyways, I've started uni if most of you didn't know and crap there's a lot of assignments when it's only the first month! Now I'm freaking myself out but yes, uni life is so much tougher when you're suppose to plan your schedules up yourself and study most of topics yourself. But I'm getting myself the latest Ipad3 from uni and I can't wait. Instagram, yes. Don't judge me, I'm a blackberry user :) Will update soon!

FriendlyFashion Contest

Okay, so I've been a little busy lately and here's what I've been up to.

Presents from my boss, adding into my hello kitty collection #hellokittyspore #starbucks #newzealandicecream

What I did with my long jeans, adding lace on the bottom. It's actually very simple :)

How could there not be any shopping #tops #highwaist #highlow

And bags, oh wonderful bags.

Yes, so that's what I've been up to but that's not really the main purpose of this post. Well,  it's about a website that I've been currently into and yes, it has definitely something to do with clothes or fashion since they cover most of the things. So let me ask you,

do you have clothes, shoes or even accessories that's just piling up in your room?
do you think you'd just splurge on something unnecessary?
or maybe you're low on cash and need a way to earn some quick?

Well, I have a solution and it's a website called friendlyfashion!!

It's a place where you can sell your pre-loved or brand new items for cash, give it away for free if you've a kind soul or even cooler, you can even swap items with other members of this community. What's not to love about this website? Right, so we're all not sure whether it's trust-able or just a bunch of con people. Well, good news is that I've tried it several times already. Be it selling or swapping, it's just so much fun!

2 of the things I purchased and am very satisfied in :)

Both at very reasonable prices. The only downside about this is that everyone there did not buy those clothes/accessories/shoes in bulk, so most likely there's only one piece for that particular item. So it's first come first serve basis, you gotta get it quick before someone else sees it.

Anyways, me and my brother's girlfriend is selling off this vintage green high low skirt for RM44 excluding postage. Again, I only have one piece for this. So do leave a comment/inbox me on friendlyfashion/facebook/tweet me if you want :) All my links are on the right. My friendlyfashion username is Littlemissevon btw. There are other things that I post on my friendlyfashion page as well. So here's a picture of the skirt!

Okay I know it sounds like I've already gotten into my main topic of this post, but I haven't! Alright, it's this little contest from friendlyfashion that I've just noticed and joined 2 days ago. I've joined a little bit later than the rest of the people but am catching up, to my surprise.

So the contest is to become Friendlyfashion's Top 15 Official Blogger! Alright, I'm at number 16 right now, pretty close. And everyday, everyone else's votes are adding up. So I need mine to add up too!

All you need to do is go to their website which I'll put the link on the name here again friendlyfashion and sign up to be a member. It's free! After that, go to this link Littlemissevon and click vote for me! It's that simple :) What are the benefits? These 15 bloggers will receive perks like attending events that FF's been invited to, blog post promoted in FF, be associated with DIGI WWWOW Awards Online Shop of The Year and so much more. Sounds pretty interesting for a person who's online most of the time.

Anyways, this contest ends on 15th of August so you'll have time till then to vote for me! Or if you'd love to try, you can apply for the contest as well :) OR if you don't want to do both (which I hope you'd at least vote for me first), you can start submitting your items into your profile and start fishing for costumers! I won't be telling you steps on using this website because it's really user friendly. Again, like I said before, it's free! This only benefits you which is awesome :)

Alright, thanks for stopping by. Btw, this is my new blogskin. Something simple and sweet but needs a little upgrading. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

DIY: Fringe Top

I've always find fringe tops pretty nice; it somehow reminds me of Pocahontas, don't ask me why. But I never actually thought of getting one for myself. Let me show you a few pretty fringe tops.

These are nice to pull off with a simple denim shorts and gladiator sandals for a day out in a weather like Malaysia. So while I was cleaning up my closet for old clothes to be given away or sold off, I came upon this particular top and wondered if I could make a fringe top out of it. And the top isn't very expensive, so even if it end up looking like crap it's still alright haha.

Ok, so all you need is:
1. An unwanted top
2. A pair of cloth scissors
3. Ruler (Optional unless you want your fringe to be really straight)

Okay, this is my choice of top.

A pair of cloth scissors

Make measurements. We don't want to over-cut your top. Just make sure to wear the top and see how long you want your fringe to be. I've also decided to cut off the sleeves since fringe top always looks nicer being sleeveless or short sleeves.

And start snipping away. You can do it faster by cutting the front and back together, but if you're afraid of the alignment and all then you can cut the front first then the back. It is all up to you :)

Okay, end result! I am super satisfied with this :) Honestly, there was one major mistake that I did while cutting the fringe. One of the side is missing one fringe, so it looks a little bald there. But it's a fringe top! It's suppose to look a little messy and I don't think anyone would want to count or stare at those fringes that long right? And I don't think anyone can see it until I tell them so. And I'm telling it to you right now, so when you see me wearing that top please make sure you don't stare at the error haha

Paired it with denim shorts and strapped sandals from Korea!

There you go :) An old top being transformed.

Anyways, that's it for now. Will have more DIYs coming right up.

People. School. Carnival

Went to my high school carnival recently. I guess it was expected to be pathetic and all but what the heck. I was there to meet up with my old friends anyways. So I would say it wasn't too bad of a Sunday morning. Well, I'm just happy to see their faces again after 3 years being separated from our courses but it's not that I don't meet up with them once in a while like some anti-social freak. Ok, some pictures taken by Su Ann and re-edited by me :)

Some art gallery.

Me sweating while holding my lunch boohoo.

Alright, 2 carnivals in one weekend is just too much for me. I was never a carnival person in the first place. Hot weather, crowded places and not-so-nice food. Hmmm doesn't sound so appealing after all. No more carnivals for the time being. Anyways, there's this event coming up in Kuala Lumpur and I really wanted to go so badly because XiaXue is gonna be there! Like I'm a really huge fan of hers, but the passes are so expensive *cries* But just wanted to post it up anyways :)

 Date:14th July 2012 (Saturday)
Time:8.00am - 7.00pm
Venue:Concorde Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Oh how I wish I could be there. It's a conference to learn about blogging, web-hosting and all those shizz. Alright, rushing off to work. Till next time! Toodles :)

한국

Wow, it's been more than a month since I wrote in this blog. Time really passed by so quickly. Well, I've been busy with university application, Korea trip, work and more work. But recently, I've been picking up some DIY handiwork and accessories just because it seems pretty fun and interesting. I'll post up some pictures of them once I'm done with it. For now, I'm digging up my closet for clothes that I've never worn before or probably worn them once or twice because I'm planning to sell them off at really cheap prices. Do message me in my Facebook if you wanna know the website for it. The link for my Facebook page is one of the boxes on the right :) For now, I'll just show you some random pictures of my trip to Korea.

 The airport in Korea

 Our people

Yoido Full Gospel Church, biggest church in the world.

New Life Youth was invited to sing to an audience of 20 to 30,000. Yes, you've got that right

 The stage

That's us alright. Spot me in Maroon :)

The finale

Yummy food

The ice cream was so long and the weather was pretty hot for the Koreans that my ice cream melted. So the lady had to put my ice cream upside down to eat.

 At the King's palace.

At the borderline of North and South Korea. All the wishes and prayers of the people.

Last but not least, my shopping haul from Korea :)

Alright, that's it for now. Time to head off to work. More updates soon, I promise.
