1. The world says:
Get all you can.

But God said:
Give all you can.

Luke 6:38

Give, and it will be give to you.
A good measure, pressed down, shaken together & running over,
will be poured into your lap.
For with the measure you use,
it will be measured to you.




2. The world says:
Put yourself first.

But God said:
Put others before you.

Philippians 2:3

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit,
but in humility consider
others better than yourself.




3. The world says:
Appearance is very important.

But God said:
Its the heart that counts.

1 Samuel 16:7

Do not consider his appearance or his height,
for I have rejected him.
The Lord does not look at the things man looks at.
Man looks at the outward appearance,
but the Lord looks at the heart.




4. The world says:
You only got one life. Live it to the max.

But God said:
You have eternal life. Live it wisely.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world,
that he gave his one and only son.
That whoever believes in him,
shall not perish,
but have eternal life.
